Something I drew over the course of a few days when I took breaks from studying. Personally, I don't think it is half bad

Oh yeah, that's Colette Lefebvre if you aren't aware... M1952 handgun, C-24 rifle. This is a remake of a really old piece. So, it sort of falls into my 2 Years 200 Deviations celebration...

I like to think I'm getting better and drawing people. But, unlike my aircraft, I can never seem to do what I want to do on paper. It's almost as if there is not enough space

So is that the handgun she's holding? Why is she holding it like that? I think the one-knee thing comes from how they fire from a kneeling position, but I got no idea. May be just a stylistic choice from the game designers. She looks ready to kill someone at any second though, so she does look awesome ^_^

Yeah... probably a style thing. I found it funny that in BF3, one of the guys has a knee pad around his ankle. So I think the people in Sweden making the games are just messing around

She's supporting her firing hand with her free hand, allowing her to be more accurate. So, it's good if it looks that, because it means I succeeded. In hindsight though, I still should have used more reference pictures and not gone off of memory :/

Umm, something from the Battlefield series that caught on. I remember the Spec-Ops in BF2 had one knee pad, and the medic in BF3 has only one as well

yep in bad company 2 it was the engineer though it covered a little more and as far as i can tell the guy on the cover only has one.
