Wow, this is spellbinding, hypnotic and surreal. I love it and I can tell that once finished, it'll be an abstract film masterpiece; great work so far!

You know the way you use distortion in moving images is really something else, i love it when an artist manages to create distortion(s) where it's impossible to figure out exactly what's going on. It would be great to see you doing more animation/film shorts like these.

fantastic movie !
I like the fade of vertical lines on horizontal/ diagonal etc.
Is it handheld creation or you use a jimmy arm for these please ?
they have the feel they are taken from the middle of nowhere (sky).

Thank you very much!
hand held? jimmy arm? it's made out of photos by =sputnikpixel which are used as textures on 3d models

WOW ! Great job then ! I guess you used the editing program for many hours to do such animation to the images.
They look so smooth moving and dimensional.
what program you used and resolution/ quality/ format to save it ?

rawimage In reply to LemnosExplorer [2007-11-15 16:07:36 +0000 UTC]
yes, endless hours for nothing, because the texture mapping is really crappy. I used a tool called canoma. and old discontinued tool to create 3d models out of 2d photos. the animations are done very quick and easy in canoma too. you move the object and save only a keyframe. then you move it further and save a key frame again. canoma calculates the frames in between. unfortunately you can't edit this "animations script". once you delete a key frame the animation goes crazy and you have to start over again. I used single frames in best jpg quality and the original size of the photos. something about 2000 x 3000 px. then I resized them to video resolution (640 x 480) and rendered them in adobe premiere into an uncompressed AVI.

I was wondering if you know this website for canoma to see it works on mac.
