Description
Trolls are known to eat funguses and other types of mushrooms as well as fruits, yet they tend to eat any living creature that their able to catch in order to sustain their aggressive hunger. Many farmers have struggled with trolls, for they always target any livestocks in the farms that they might come across. They are commonly nocturnal because of their night vision, making them partially blind during the day.
Trolls are quite large, reaching a total body length of up to 3.3 m (11 ft) and weighing up to 306 kg (675 lb). They have very powerful physical prowess; able to use their large arms to inflict powerful damage to its prey. Trolls are even able to survive extreme wether conditions. Their thin and long nose have exceptionally good senses of smell but their ears however, have an average sense of hearing. One of their most notable features are the branch-like appendages that protrudes from their hunched backs, causing them a large amount of weight making them somewhat clumsy. Therefore, most of them must balance their huge weight on their knuckles. Trolls also seem to display an average intelligence; they are known to dig a large hole on the ground for them to sleep in, leaving only their branched hunchback exposed to serve as a camouflage that's able to fool any unknowing prey or traveler that might be passing by. Once any prey is in close proximity, the troll will emerge from the ground and attack it's prey. Sometimes the Troll will simply drag its victim into its hole. Their also not able to speak but they can communicate with other trolls, their also known to make nests for the mating purposes.
They most commonly stray from human settlements and or societies, therefore tend to settle in caves, mountains, swamps and deep forests. They are known to stay in places with low temperature making trolls very common to find in the north. There have been reports of humans to have heard very loud footsteps deep within the wilderness; it can be speculated to be have been a troll.
There's also a myth about a man that encountered a troll deep within the forest. The man climbed up a pine-tree in hopes that the troll might have given up on pursuing him but, the Troll knocked down the tree with its tremendous strength. After the man fell, the Troll began to eat him.

So after stumbling on one of my old books that I drew fantasy creatures in it, I decided to make a redesign of my version of the troll. Here's the link to the old desing sta.sh/0ncay49xd7j I did 5 years ago. As you can see, it might take a sec to realize what your looking at, do to the details that were overly done.
