I didn't quite know what to expect from this title....I'm surprised somewhat, but it made me think, and I realized the truth of it. What things we do to ourselves...

I like the lighting of this shot and the angle of your razor. Something so simple...yet makes for such an original picture. Wonderful job.

I like this one better. I think the folds in the cloth backdrop really adds to the composition.

You're welcome. And I know how that is. I have the same problem all the time.

You must have noticed yourself already, but in case you haven't, I'd like to point out that the highlight is overexposed, and it doesn't look as good and sleek as the rest of the photo, but it must have been difficult to light this object. Also, you might want to take off the plastic cap, since that would maybe bring forth better the abuse part of the razor.
Apart from that, I like the photo very much, the lighting is good and highlights the physical features of the razor very well. I especially like the highlight of the rubber handle thingy just a bit to the left of the centre of the picture, since only the edge of it is lit up.

Thanks... yes the overexposed was a problem, reduced it as much as I could with Photoshop but the shiny silver was a little tough to light.... didn't think of removing the cap... but your right that would have worked better. The backdrop was in fact the coat featured in "zip trip". Thanks for your constructive comment

Haha, I love the title, it realy suits the image (and I feel your pain).

I like this ligthing in this, something ab out it's unique to me. Maybe it's that it's such a smooth object, odd shaped, but it looks great.

Thank you... the light was interesting on this like you say the odd shape is a big part of the attraction
