Description Even having fixed the colors of the scan, Ophelia's tattoo didn't show up as I had hoped and got messed up a bit (it's supposed to be a Seviper wrapped around her arm), kind of a shame since there'd been so much detail I put into her design and yet the scanner couldn't handle it.

Name: Ophelia
Specialty Type: Poison
Initial Team: Buzzoff (Lv. 56), Widesind (Lv. 56), Drapion (Lv. 57), Vespiermâché (Lv. 57), Mambite (Lv. 58), Inflormary (Dual, Lv. 59)
Rematch Team (Singles): Buzzoff (Lv. 75), Widesind (Lv. 75), Vespiermâché (Lv. 76), Drapion (Lv. 77), Mambite (Lv. 77), Inflormary (Dual, Lv. 77)
Rematch Team (Doubles): Buzzoff (Lv. 75), Widesind (Lv. 75), Vespiermâché (Lv. 76), Inflormary (Lv. 77), Mambite (Lv. 77), Drapion (Mega, Lv. 77)
"Yo. You're this new upstart trainer who's gotten all the way here, yeah? That's cool, gotta say even that much is impressive. Name's Ophelia. I'm an artist and a trainer, and all my Pokemon are Poison types. Poison and my street art have a lot in common, both get a bad rap because of some of the worst examples. But so many poisons end up being diluted and used for life-saving medicines that without that poison just wouldn't work, and even if an alleyway gets totally defaced by one guy who just wants to wreck stuff and spray paint it at random another person can take what he's left behind there and turn it into a real work of art. Let me show you just what poison can do, in as artistic a battle as I can!"
Ophelia grew up in the northern section of Reithavn, in an area that has a reputation for lawlessness and being a rough area. In reality it's actually a hotspot for street art and counterculture, both of which Ophelia always has been at the forefront of. The area is nonetheless a rather rough place to grow up in, which necessitated her to become very skilled at Pokemon battles, a skill that eventually landed her in the running for the position of Gym Leader of the Reithavn Gym. There are a few conflicting accounts of what happened next, but all of them involve her battling with Hans for the position. According to some, she soundly defeated them, enough so that she was offered a spot in the Elite Four instead. According to others, Hans narrowly won, but impressed by her skill put in a recommendation for her to fill that spot. Whatever the case, for unknown reasons neither seems at liberty to give more than a few tidbits of the truth, but to this day she lives in her same neighborhood of Reithavn, even as a member of the Elite Four, and is deeply involved in the art scene. Her somewhat imposing appearance can be intimidating to newcomers to the scene, but she, though curt, is nonetheless very welcoming to them.
"Hey, wait. Before you go onto the next guy, good work. You beat me and that takes grit. I was in the running for Gym Leader once and I've got some of the goods from that still. I don't often get challengers who give me a battle that good so I want you to have a little something. Think of it as a thanks, think of it as just loot for winning, doesn't matter to me. Just make good use of it, yeah?"
[PLAYER] obtained TM365 Sticky Situation!
TM365 Sticky Situation- The user smacks the target and slathers it in a sticky viscous fluid. If the target tries to switch out of battle, this move will hit and trap it in battle before it can escape.
[PLAYER] obtained the Venom Badge!
Venom Badge- A custom, albeit unofficial, Gym Badge received from Ophelia. It's in the shape of a coiled serpent with dripping fangs.
"I like your style. I'll meet you somewhere when you beat the champ, maybe give you a congrats of some kind. Sound good? Go ahead, I won't keep you longer. I've been blabbing, get out there and knock down the rest."

Name: Gunther
Specialty Type: Fighting
Initial Team: Kongenguin (Lv. 58), Valhalkyrie (Lv. 58), Hawlucha (Lv. 59), Bjorbarian (Lv. 59), Kickretary (Lv. 60), Lausersted (Dual, Lv. 61)
Rematch Team (Singles): Kongenguin (Lv. 76), Valhalkyrie (Lv. 76), Bjorbarian (Lv. 77), Kickretary (Lv. 78), Lausersted (Lv. 78), Hawlucha (Mega, Lv. 78)
Rematch Team (Doubles): Kongenguin (Lv. 76), Valhalkyrie (Lv. 76), Bjorbarian (Lv. 77), Hawlucha (Lv. 78), Kickretary (Lv. 78), Lausersted (Dual, Lv. 78)
"Welcome, challenger. I am Gunther. There's much more to strength than force and power alone. The most powerful fighter in the world can lose to a fighter a third of his size if he doesn't know how to use that force he's got. Real strength comes from many more factors than just brute force. If you've made it this far, you must know this. So show me! Fight!"
Gunther is a man of many talents, with background in martial arts, bodybuilding, and acting. He's a man of few words and many muscles, training beside his Fighting type Pokemon in fierce hand-to-hand sparring contests that astound onlookers. Some describe him as being a Fighting type Pokemon in his own right even, though he's a man of enough integrity and morals not to punch a defenseless Normal type to find out. With such experience honing both his body and his skills as a trainer, he's well acquainted with just what it is that makes a trainer or athlete truly "strong", and if a challenger does not show a similar awareness and simply rushes ahead full-force with no real strategy, he will call off the battle. He also generally will outright refuse to battle those who he knows do not stand a chance, preferring to instead advise them in one way or another and get them to a point where they can hold their own against him.

Name: Cole
Specialty Type: Rock
Initial Team: Barnagans (Lv. 60), Titaneura (Lv. 60), Rhyperior (Lv. 61), Dryonomus (Lv. 61), Archaeyena (Lv. 62), Platiamat (Dual, Lv. 63)
Rematch Team (Singles): Titaneura (Lv. 77), Dryonomus (Lv. 77), Barnagans (Lv. 78), Platiamat (Lv. 79), Archaeyena (Lv. 79), Rhyperior (Mega, Lv. 79)
Rematch Team (Doubles): Titaneura (Lv. 77), Dryonomus (Lv. 77), Barnagans (Lv. 78), Rhyperior (Lv. 79), Archaeyena (Lv. 79), Platiamat (Dual, Lv. 79)
"Hey wow, new challenger huh? My name is Cole, and I train Rock types. I also dig up fossils here on Ymir Island in the cave networks and abandoned mines. How much do you know about natural selection? Different environmental pressures can make traits advantageous or an impediment. But because those pressures change over time, no adaptation of any living thing is ever the right one for every circumstance, there is no one-size-fits-all in nature. Pokemon battles can be the same way! Water and Grass types have an advantage against Rock types, right? Well, you may be in for a nasty surprise then! Let's see how you hold up in the face of these pressures!"
Ymir Island, home to the Pokemon League, has a wealth of coal, rare minerals, and well-preserved fossils, and a long standing history of mining, even though the mines there have mostly shut down since the establishment of the Pokemon League there. The mines being closed does not stop Cole, however, from looking through these abandoned coal veins and finding fossils from the same time, and he's become an expert, routinely working on fossil restoration at the research facility in Dagdalen, the sole settlement on Ymir Island. He's incorporated much of his paleontological knowledge into his strategies in battle- no adaptation is universally advantageous, generalists fare better than specialists in the face of adversity, and the winner of the battle isn't the one who is more powerful but the one who is more able to adjust to the changing tides of the battle itself.

Name: Su.Z
Specialty Type: Sound
Initial Team: Solasi (Lv. 62), Huldrallure (Lv. 62), Exploud (Lv. 63), Audeon (Lv. 63), Bigglyruff (Lv. 64), Metalicord (Dual, Lv. 65)
Rematch Team (Singles): Audeon (Lv. 78), Solasi (Lv. 78), Huldrallure (Lv. 79), Bigglyruff (Lv. 80), Metalicord (Lv. 80), Exploud (Mega, Lv. 80)
Rematch Team (Doubles): Audeon (Lv. 78), Solasi (Lv. 78), Huldrallure (Lv. 79), Exploud (Lv. 80), Bigglyruff (Lv. 80), Metalicord (Dual, Lv. 80)
"Mic check... okay! We've got a challenger stepping up to the mic I see! My name's Su.Z, I'm kind of a big name in some music scenes though so maybe you knew that! I'd heard you were coming, I hear you put on quite a show for the others in the Elite Four! My Sound types and I are your last step before you reach the Pokemon League Champion then. But we're not gonna take it, you got that? We're not going down without a fight! You don't wanna step to this!"
Su.Z is an accomplished singer with background in a wide array of genres, having dabbled in whatever she thinks her fans most want to hear whether she's familiar with it or not, and thoroughly familiarizing herself in the process. For quite some time her popularity as a musician was actually on a downswing because of this, with critics and detractors calling her nothing but a trend-chaser, but this was when she had the idea to work her Pokemon into her performances as a new sort of trademark to her style. The fans and critics alike loved it, and this springboarded both her musical career and her path as a trainer, eventually landing her a spot in the Elite Four thanks to her unique battle style combining performance with strategy. While considered to be the strongest of the Elite Four, she does not view herself in this way, preferring to consider herself the most difficult opponent more due to her unorthodox approach to battling than her strength.
