Ruby Rose as warrior trained to use the weapons and fighting styles of a class from one of the three original factions of For Honor. Ruby is definitely a character of RWBY that needs to be a hybrid warrior to better fit in a For Honor x RWBY crossover, at least that's how I see it. Now I don't have the game or know the classes that well but I do know a few things. Yang can definitely be a Berserker from the Vikings with her anger sometimes giving her an added boost, maybe even more if she controls it and gives it the right form. Blake can be a Shinobi of the Samurai, who would later become an Orochi by receiving training from Adam, a Kensei. Weiss becoming a Warden of the Knights while wearing armor similar to the knight she killed in the White Trailer. Ruby's weapon, fighting style and personality makes it difficult of which class and faction best fits her. Hence why I drew her as a hybrid of the three.

Going off of class trailers of these three and things from RWBY about Ruby herself and what I see her as, this is why I think three classes fit a certain aspect of her.

In the Raider Trailer, the Raiders are made to fight war and are fearless, the same for the rest of the Viking faction since Valhalla is a place for warriors who have fallen in battle. Ruby herself is rather fearless as well, sure she gets scared a few times in the show but it's the "Being brave despite fear, not the lack of it," by Mark Twain. She will dive head first into a fight against a Nevermore with a weapon she only knows the basics of using it. Ride a rocket-locker to stop a bad guy, head into a heavy Grimm infested area to rescue her friends and fight an opponent with better fighting capability just to prevent someone close to her from getting killed. It's the people close to her first, and herself last. Crescent Rose and the Long Axe are similar in that they offer their wielders the range and power in a fight. Range to keep foes at bay and power to make each strike one to do large amount of damage.

Nobushi Trailer, Nobushi are the graceful and aggressive protectors. Ruby with Crescent Rose is shown to be a rather graceful and aggressive fighter of blades, bullets and rose petals against the Grimm. Her semblance makes her the lightest on the battlefield to enhance her mobility similar to how the Nobushi have the lightest of armor to increase their mobility. Both Nobushi and Ruby have weapons with the sharpest of blades. Nobushi using theirs to make their foes bleed out while Ruby's is to quickly kill a Grimm or cut off the tail of a deadly foe.

Peacekeeper Trailer, Peacekeepers are "dancers of death with dual blades as dance partners". From her Red Trailer Ruby has shown to be her own dancer of death with Crescent Rose. Fast, agile, using their foes as platforms and a hood. A perfect match for her.
