Poor Tarn, he settles down to get caught up on his "More Than Meets the Eye" comics and is quite happily flicking through until he gets to issue 28 which is called "Dawn of the Autobutts"At which point he notices a tiny, insignificant, barely noticeable spoiler about Megatron

There are so many different versions of Transformers it's impossible to follow what the scrap is going on
This is why the video games don't link to the original 1980s cartoons, the comics don't match the Hasbro toys, and everyone except me hates the Michael Bay movies
This robot is called Tarn, he is from the comics series "More Than Meets the Eye" published by an American company called IDW
The Reddit forums has a section for IDW Transformers, this post gives suggestions about where to start reading them all but be warned

I don't hate the Bay movies, I've grown up with them and I enjoy and love them for what they are. So along with the comics and toys adding lore, movieverse is my favourite continuity.
Yeah, I read about Tarn on Tfwiki, I've come to enjoy him, he sounds cool,despite me not knowing anything that happens because I'm afraid my brain will die of the intense blocks of text I'd have to read XD
I've read a few MTMTE Comics, but they are not in order at all and, well, I still don't know what's going on XP. Saw a meme about how we expectED IDW to remember everything about the comics, then they hired some guy, now they expect us to remember everything so that basically proves how much stuff they are pumping out XD

I wasn't a Transformers fan at all until the 2007 Bayformers movie, and I'm still here
I can understand why the original 1980s fans don't like the new movies, but to me it's like Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. They are the same thing, but in a completely different way
I read the first few issues of More Than Meets the Eye but it ended up with so many different plots and characters and stories that I couldn't keep up!

My first Transformers was First Movie Deluxe Barricade, he was difficult to transform so I asked my Dad to help XD
But if I never walked into that shop that day at the airport, I don't think I would have ever got into Transformers.

I thought originally the Decepticon logo was his face, but recent issues show it is a mask... perhaps I should think about what he looks like under it? What does his real face look like..?

I'm trying to imagine why Megatron would join the auto bots. He in various cartoons Has sided with the auto bots if I remember correctly in one cartoon. He went as far as facing bumblebee and accepting him as a equal. I think in that particular cartoon something was going to happen to Megatron and he turned over leadership of the Decepticon to bumblebee in that particular series bumblebee had ended up becoming leader of the auto bots to words the end of series and if I remember correctly, Megatron was dying or something like that. There was some speech involved. I forget there's been so many different Transformers cartoons. But I've never seen one where Megatron went as far as changing his little deceptive con logo. There was one series. I think they went as far as Megatron trying to have a union between auto bots and The Decepticon
but something happened later on in the series. In the lower ranks. I just couldn't imagine him doing it because he always wanted to be in a leadership position and I couldn't imagine him joining the auto bots on last seat plan to war was replacing optimist prime. He doesn't strike me as the type to ever take orders from anybody. Let alone from your picture. It looks to be the old generation one. Megatron before he became GalVTron. I'm trying to figure out what must've happens to have him go as far as becoming an auto bot. There are several circumstances, I could foresee where he would choose to put differences aside and fight alongside the auto bots, but I couldn't see anything that would result in him becoming one of Them.

I don't know all the old G1 and Beast Wars stories but I remember there have been some comics and TV shows where everyone has worked together to survive

maybe bowlth. it's kind of a weird twist to a plot line because he's always kind of been the face of the deceptive cons. It's not been uncommon for him to do one alliance when it was in that septic on best interest. Basically, those kinds of situations where if they didn't work together all sides would've gotten wiped out but I never thought there'd be a situation where he'd go as far has changing his Insignia. It's not like he doesn't know who he is or something like that where they've done storylines where optimist prime ended up with the septic on logo because he didn't remember events sensed him and Megatron were still allies. They've always get around that him and Megatron. were related in different storylines so maybe that's got something you do with it.
