Description
As I mentioned in my other images, I was feeling experimental, so I set up some books and then threw a sheet over it all before arranging the weapons (and one training item) in place on the stepped books.And once again I tried a different angle. Wanted to get a better shot of the pistol, but I think this worked out nicely.
Might make these stock images.
In case you're wondering, this is what the weaponry is:
Wakizashi short sword
Training nunchuku
Springfield Arms 1911A1 .45 caliber pistol
Mark 3 Mod 0 Navy Knife
Sheath for said knife
Two 1911 .45 Magazines with gripper plate
Winchester .45 Auto 230 GR. (Grain) Full Metal Jacket Target/Range rounds
Hornady .45 ACP 200 GR. rounds

damn tankers. If you ask me infantry should get .45s, not you guys. =_= I saw an insergent take 12 9mm ball rounds before. I wish they would have let me take my desert eagle, It would have been only one shot.

And while your Desert Eagle may have taken'em down with one shot...the catch comes in at the logistics end. No more buwwets! DOH!

Ive seen tankes with .45s before, in baghdad. Plus, most people that buy a 1911 on their own accord dont normaly get the military spec one, so I assumed.
Dont rely on other people to bring you bullets then, get your own. With what contractors make Ive no problem spending over a dollar a bullet if its a kill every time. Do tha math: M9, 15+1.. 12 shots per bad guy. about 1 and a half bad guys killed maybe with a mag. Desert Eagle.. 1 bullet per bad guy, 7+1, thats 8 bad guys killed without reloading.

It wouldn't have been US Army tankers with .45s, not unless that particular unit was given permission to bring them. M9's were, as of last I knew, the standard sidearm for all crewmen on vehicles, and I haven't heard any changes to that as of yet.
Contractors can bring their own. They are contractors/mercenaries after all. Little more difficult to carry enough extra ammo in your duffel when you have to carry everything else that's on the packing list.
You also have to assume you don't miss for that math to work.

Where did you find that colt 45! Ive been looking for one of those to add to my guns for years! I have a lot of military weapons, but that pistol(next to the Luger) is the one I value among all others...man, you are really fortunate to have such an excellent firearm!

It's a reproduction of the WWII era pistols. As you see in the description, it's actually made by Springfield Arms, not Colt (not that it makes a difference, all the 1911's are interchangeable with each other), and oddly seems to be off, always goes to the left. Not sure if it's just me, or the sight is, which doesn't quite make sense since the rear sight can't be adjusted (replaced yes, adjusted no). I certainly do like it though, doesn't kick to badly (one guy who fired it found it kicked less than his Glock .40, which was amusing).
If you want one I know an FFL dealer who can probably locate one for you.

He can put you on a waiting list. I think they're going for around $400-500? Depending of course on a variety of things, but he can certainly keep an eye out and let you know. Though if you're in IL, that makes things a little more problematic (thank you Chicago).

I think out of the four, I like the placement and color of this one. The others seem to lack a little in the contrast and saturation area... but that's just my opinion.
