Description Merry Christmas to all and to all a good day!

I made this picture for my friend for christmas, but it's a bit late! Whoops . Anyway, she loves jazz, so I wanted to make her something special (and because I had no idea what else to get her! ). I listened to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on repeat for pretty much the whole time~ (well... And Bad Romance... And Korn...)

I wanted each instrument to have their own individual voice and style (hence, the different paper for each!) And I wanted the way they're positioned to mirror how they affect the music... Like, the clarinet doesn't come up too often (from the songs I was listening to, at least), but when it does, you can hear it apart from any other instrument! And the piano is a steady background sound throughout the songs!

aw, if I chose art over music I probably wouldn't have kept playing as much. In a way then I am glad I chose music, because art is now just my down-time hobby and a break from being in a practice room for three hours @_@

I think it's actually easier than drawing (It definitely doesn't take as long, that's for sure!)! And you get the photoshop like effect (with all of the different textures and patterns and such!).
