It’s a well known “fact” is that Kaiju fans love to compare Kaiju’s in a game of “who would win?” So after The Crackler was defeated in Manhattan by the Godzilla. Dr. Mendel Craven was thinking about how powerful the Crackler was and wondered what other Kaiju could take it on in a fight.Dr. Elsie Chapman remembered about a very unique Kaiju amongst the other Kaiju. It seems that Gabara also exists entirely inside the dreams of child. So Game On!

my only problem was, they both looked too different in my opinion, godzilla and zilla jr. are different but they are not THAT different in apearance at-least they both had dorsal fins and both look like dinosaurs, these two look like entirely different creatures, but still, i can't wait to see these two fight in animation

Frankly, I dig the immense stylistic contrast between these two-not to mention their eerily similar id/superego origins. Offhand, their 'power sources' make it damn difficult to declare a winner...I mean, a neurotic middle-aged dude's repressed rage vs. a short-shorted schoolboy's oni-fied bully? Come to think of it, those two would make for a hilarious sidecard.

I was just thinking the other day about how similar these two are. Born from the dreams of a human, electrical powers, weird laughter-like roars... I wonder if it's intentional or just a coincidence? Either way, awesome piece. Crackler looks great here and you handled the expressions on Mendel and Elsie very well.

I thought I read somewhere that The Crackler was a expy for Gabara but even if it wasn't meant to be, it's still pretty cool!

Yeah I was thinking about using Crackler and Gyango for my Gabara piece I did, since they are dream existance monsters, but I just never was that fond of either. It's just the way alien look of Crackler I guess. And kaijus fan play who would win cause we are bored all the time
