Nice work; did ya make all those background props yourself? If you did, kudos on that barn.
Mastered the pen tool in Inkscape yet? Once you can handle it, and the edit stroke menu, the rest is quite simple.

I tried to do the barn on my own, but it was a disaster. I got the barn from another Sweet Apple Acres pic, while I took some of the trees and tweaked them to be different (well, most of them).
It's a work in progress, but I'll get the hang of inkscape soon.
Keep up with the sketches, though. Their awesome.

I do sketch a lot more than I post, but most are not anything special, or then they're game development art (for my java games, which I don't post cuz it's boring or spoilerrific), so yeah, kinda same.
And when I do draw a good sketch, I wanna digitalize it... and that hasn't went so well lately. I have at least five pictures that I've started in either SAI or Inkscape, but haven't finished.
Time is the keyword here.

Definitely. I have a few projects I promised that I'm behind on as well.
If I could, I would do this as my job, drawing vectors, doing sketches. I love it, it's alot of fun, and I enjoy getting feedback and collaborating with others. But I have a job, and I don't have the skill to make it cost effective.

In the show and official mech, he always has the bags under his eyes. That's why I put them there.

Look for a picture of him out of the Wonderbolt outfit. He actually does have a line under his eye. I've only drawn him once, but I omit it because...I agree...it makes him look tired, or older than I like to think he is.

There it was when he had his eyes closed, when you draw him with eyes closed if you draw the puffy eye it looks like a mess of lines but when his eyes were open I saw that he did had puffy eyes. If not then I guess everybody in the fandom likes him like that since all of the fanart I have seen it has him with puffy eyes.
