My custom action figure of Samus Aran from Nintendo's Metroid video game series .Hand made from scratch
Sculpted in Castilene
Molded in Smooth-On silicone rubber
Casted in Smooth-On resin
Hand painted with Tamiya Acrylics
25 Points-of-Articulation
1/6 scale (12")
Close to 300 hours to complete (1st figure-30 hours each additional figure)
Only 6 made (5 sold, 1 for me

It's amazing that I found you on DeviantArt after so many years.Β I remember we saw this custom figure on Ebay.Β almost could have gotten it if I bugged my mom enough to get it.Β (this was indeed quite a few years ago, weΒ were still using windows 95)

hey, I know this is so many years after the fact, but I really gotta say, even now that Figma has given everyone as close to perfect a Samus as mass production can give us, yours is still WAY better.Β This is a true masterpiece.

How did you get that great finish? I'm hoping to create a similar finish, only on a full scale costume Dx
