SO MANY PRETTY COLORS!

They go so well together. How the heck did you do this without making it look gaudy? It is fantastic! Oh man, you can open your own store? You ever thought about that? Man. I am still in awe at this and the last one (the one for your granddaughter) that I just looked at.

they are pretty, aren't they??

yanno . . I have no idea how I do it. luck? genius? accidental?

and I have been told (rather sternly) to do just that. it's complicated at the moment . .. and I don't have nearly enough stock yet! still getting through commission work. but someday . . ..

thanks hun! it was fun to create. I had all the decades spread out and had a ball figuring out their order. plus, my mind kept disecting them and making random patterns out of them. and you just can't go wrong with art nouveau!

Yeah, it arrived without a hitch! She hasn't gotten to see it in person yet as she's a couple hours away from me.. but I totally love it.. and as it's prettier than the pic she saw.. I have to bet she will too!

yay!! the post office always worries me . . they loose the weirdest things. *shakes head ruefully* and charge you an arm and a leg to do so! ack!! anyway. . . yay! again. I really need to get a photobox studio for taking pics of the jewelry I make . . . so far, none of it looks as nice in a pic as in person. maybe that's typical? hmmmmm . . .. whichever, it's irritating! maybe a better light source . . . lol. and I am really very happy that you like it so much! major artistic concern of mine, actually getting remotely close to a client's idea.

Gah no joke.. it's more than a bit ridiculous how much it costs to ship even something as small as jewelry..

Hmm.. I dont know what to suggest on that.. I'm fighting with it too.. I ended up wandering all over the house to try to take pics of my new jewelry.. I finally found some decent lighting.. but it's still not a "perfect" pic on any of them..

Welp, I gotta say.. so far you've slamdunked ALL of my commissions from you... and heck.. I think we're up to 4 commissons and trade now? Do I get like a frequent buyer discount or something? lol... lol again Anyway, getting close to the idea is definitely something you've done well! I'd have no problem telling ya if I didn't like something lol

and yet, the prices keep going up! between that and fuel, the Pony Express might just make a come-back!

oh good, it's not just me! *whew* thought maybe I was the only one frustrated with the whole lighting problem. saw a kit over on ebay I might invest in . .. it's like a light box with completely even white light distribution designed for small items . . . definitely worth trying!

yay! now that's encouragement. and I would count on you speaking up if something wasn't quite right! it's why I always ask such an annoying number of questions about a commission. (and yanno . . . frequent buyer discounts are definitely a thought in my mind! just have to figure out how to make them work . . . )

No joke.. it's something about metal and reflections. it's just hell on a poor little digital camera...

Yupper! I'm not shy when I'm paying for it..lol

*looks innocent* I think it's a definte option...lol

true! and gemstones are worse . . . especially polished. I'm working on a rosary right now that is a combination of blue goldstone and gold rutilated quartz . . .try photographing that! *gnashes teeth* and balancing a camera and pure white light source is painful. >_< it'll be even more fun when all the silver is there too. *sighs*

innocent, eh? lol . . ..
