Quick private commission forA drawing of Reynier Francois Augustin de Jarjayes and Louise Emilie Maguerite Henriette de Laborde, married later Hinner and then Jarjayes (for the real facts) But i used to drew them like in the Anime Lady Oscar.

While General Jarjayes can be a jerk and I hated how he treated Oscar in the beginning, he seems to love his wife and at least he apologized to Oscar for raising her as a boy and the harsh way she treated her. I wonder how he and Emilie reacted when they found out Oscar and Andre were killed?

Ah no worries. Apparently after Marie Antoinette tried to escape France, Reynier lost his respect to the monarchy and because of the nobles being killed he had to leave the country and divorced Emilie out of convenience to protect her from being executed and went to Italy to serve the Italian army, and he and Emilie got remarried in 1797.
