Biography Being an illegitimate son of a government official, he was sent away as an infant to grow up in foster care, along with a heavy sum of money. Growing up, Eden was transferred between a number of foster homes. The unstable, quick-paced environment combined with the lack of guidance from reliable adult figures caused a deeply-rooted rebellious streak to fester in the young boy, one that would not be easily soothed. While debatable, Eden’s troublesome and difficult behavior, along with several attempts of running away as a child, warranted a cycle amongst numerous homes and schools in his lifetime. As a child, he consistently questioned his own place in the world, but had no place or person to turn to in order to seek answers. Every place he went was temporary, and he felt the same for position in life.   By the time he was 10, he had been through a total of five homes, and was onto his sixth and last family: a family of bakers that by no means, were wealthy or in the higher hierarchy of society, but were exceptionally kind and accommodating to him. Unlike any other treatment he had experienced prior, this family did their best when it came to treating him as if one of their own. There, he was counselled by the family's other foster child, who had five years of life over him. Sympathetic to sharing the same plight and similar experiences, his foster brother became his closest confidant. Having a shoulder to lean on had lessened the weight of his burdens and given him a sense of self and belonging, and he felt that, perhaps, he had truly found a place where he wasn't alone - he found someone who found a place beside him. Through this connection, he was able to come to accept his foster parents and this new atmosphere he would soon know to become “home”.

  This sense of newfound solidarity would not linger - the activation of his Coeur was the turning point. While adjusting to his new lifestyle was significantly easier this time around, Eden’s mischievous side still surfaced - on one particular evening, he had been climbing the family roof, where he lost his footing and fell. While he only suffered from a broken arm, by the time his brother came to his aid, Eden’s Coeur had activated as his body’s form of self-defense. Both kids were rushed to the hospital, which lead to life-altering reveals. Not only did this trip reveal that Eden possessed a Coeur, but also that he had transferred his wound to his brother. Saddled with guilt, Eden had withdrawn himself once more. In learning of his identity for the first time, he had decided that it would be best for him to distance himself as he feared hurting those around him… but more importantly, those he cared for. When he was referred to Shinnou, an academy where Coeur users learned to control their abilities, he had agreed to go upon without any hesitation.

Spending two years on the island prepping in Headquarters, he entered Shinnou in his last year of middle school to learn more about his Coeur. If anything has changed, it is his physical stature; he still retains the mindsets and mannerisms of a typical teenage boy looking for trouble. Miscellaneous:
