There's something alot like this in quite a few Indian cities, expecially Bombay. As a protest to the huge amount of advertising the slogan "stick no bills" is spray painted on a variety of surfaces. And the wierdest thing is, wherever it is written, there are no posters...

Beautiful work! Are the figures in the painting tired of the piercing gaze of Fairey's mass-produced prints? Or just protesting?

Loved Fairey's execution, but never really saw that much in the individual messages of his pieces, once you get past the posse, anyhow.
(I've got one of the beautiful heavy stock posters he did for juxtapoz on my wall - best art I ever got for twenty bucks)
