I'll probably move this to scraps later, but for now.... enjoy

Anyway, this is my next costuming endevour (I just don't stop, do I?). While I enjoyed being a faerie this past Faire season, I decided that I'm more of an elf at heart, and so wanted to make a costume that reflects that for GARF and DragonCon.

My friend suggested doing some sort of elven warrior maiden thing, and I immediately took to the idea and started sketching.

My symbols are the birch tree and Yggdrasil, so I had the bracers and belt reflect that. I'm going to try to get some bracers with birch trees on them custom made, so we'll see how that goes I'm not sure yet what I'll do about the belt... If I can find somewhere that'll custom make it for a decent price, I'll try that, but if not, I'll probably just end up making one myself. I'm also having the circlet (and possibly some ear cuffs) custom made, so I hope that this costume will really be beautiful when all is said and done.

Needless to say, I'd love it if some of my costumes started selling to help pay for this XD ([link] ). Though I am starting really early (GARF is in spring) to spread out the costs.

So right now, I'm undecided on colours. I'm wanting to go with kind of silvery spring colours (to reflect the silvery bark of the birch tree and the idea of rebirth and new beginnings). Besides, spring colours are so pretty imo ^_^
