PERSONALITY:
Maeline has been known to be quite clever and witty. Even in her Milotic days, she was a little strange, pulling little pranks here and there to spite her trainer -- out of love of course. She is also quite materialistic, she will only take the best, nothing less. As well as that, she tends to be a little hard-headed. What she believes is the right idea will be the right idea; she doesn't believe that it could go any other way. And you trying to change her mind will only upset her. Since her mind only goes one way, she tends to be a little impulsive. Her pranks don't always go as planned due to this. But, you can expect her to be full of energy!

HISTORY
This young Pokémon started out as a repulsive little Feebas, swimming around in Route 119. She lived in a large school of Feebas, the only school in that whole region -- or so the other Pokémon had told the rare school of Feebas. One day, the impulsive little Feebas saw a little old fishing hook hanging around the edge of the water and thought it would be just a little funny to scare the other Feebas off by bringing the hook closer. Unforunately, Maeline -- or, she had no name at the time, she was just another "Feebas" amongst the crowd -- had little knowledge of Pokémon hooks, and by the time an elder Feebas had spotted her actions, it was too late. The young Feebas was swept up, weakened by some trained Zangoose, and ding! was the last sound she heard when she dozed off to sleep in a small little encasing.
A warmth filled throughout the young Feebas, awakening her. The water-type opened up her eyes to see a cheery young man with a bright smile on his face. He introduced himself as "Roran" and had insulted her very appearance. "You're not the cutest Pokémon by a long shot, that's for sure. But don't worry, we'll get you all beautiful in no time! I'll call you Maeline, okay? That's your new name." is what he had told her, handing her a strange blue cube that smelled a little nice. He urged her to eat many of these, which were a little dry, but it left a nice taste in her mouth. Then, once her scales started glowing -- which they had never done before -- he handed her a prism scale and brought her into battle, beating a trainer in battle. With glee, Roran watched as Maeline's body glowed brightly and morphed into the beautiful Milotic.
Maeline wasn't too impressed. She was expecting something more striking, that would intimidate people. That would show her power. However, she was impressed by the fact that she could float in mid air! Oh, how she wished she was a dragon type. Unlike the usual Milotic, she was into battles. Roran had other ideas for her though, showing her off in little competitions. Oh how she hated it.
Eventually, Landon thought that little Maeline no longer had the pazazz she held in her first few contests. She would often try to pull too many pranks or battle other Pokémon on stage. After receiving a letter, he knew where a safe place would be to hold the Pokémon that was oh so precious to him. However, everyone needs a break from what's precious to them. So off little Maeline went, to this Professor Fennel for an experiment. "You'll be safe, I'll see you soon, Mae." Roran bid his farewells, giving a small PokéBlock to the Pokémon and a pat on the head.

EXTRAS:

o Maeline loves to be called Mae -- only with people who are close to her though. Call her Mae when you're out of her close friends circle and you're bound to get a glare.
o She loves to start battles of any kind -- most of them begin with a prank gone too far. So beware!
o Maeline has a thing for floating around, when she's bored you'll often see her hovering off the ground with the use of her wings.
