Description
This is the concept for the main theme of a cd cover about Lilith. The group still has to approve it, but I like it enough to post it here

This is one of the most beautiful black and white drawings/colorings I've seen. Her hair is so wild, but in an elegant way. Your shading is great and I love the patterns on her dress. The planet behind her also has just enough detail to get your attention but not so much that it takes your attention away from the woman, good job!

Except for the hand, i wouldn't change a thing, not even color it. I find that your black and white pieces have the most power; it's as if being limited by only two colors (or just one color and empty space) gives you a wider range of expression. Great job, maybe you could post your finished product so we don't keep on commenting on things you've already changed?

Thank you for your comment, I should think about the fact that my black and white pictures have something more than the colored one...maybe there's something I still have to develop with colors to give more expression...
I don't post the finished product simply because it hasn't been finished. I mean, I've been too busy to correct that hand and the group which this drawing was made for has split up, so the project died

sad...maybe you should hold auditions to MAKE a band, just so you can make the cover art for it
I think part of it is that I have a strong predisposition for bold works, and watercolor, when used on a grand scale, has a tendency to be a bit wishywashy. That's just inherent in the medium, not with your skill. Only if you spend a ridiculous amount of time on details will watercolor be as vivid as if you just use black and white.
