Blue chirped as she was hanged by her tailed, being softly held by her Papa’s sharp white teeth. She wiggled and chirped again, almost as if she was giggling. Well of course she was giggling, she was close to her Papa. She likes being close to Papa.

I know I took the path that you would never want for me
I know I let you down, didn’t I
So many sleepless nights where you were waiting up on me
Well I’m just a slave unto the night

Papa climbed to their nest at the corner of the enclosure, settling her down before hopping out of the nest. Blue squealed, calling after him. She stood up and began climbing out of the nest.

Now remember when I told you that’s the last you’ll see of me
Remember when I broke down to tears
I know I took the path that you would never want for me
I gave you hell through all the years

Blue finally jumped out of the nest, just in time when her papa finally came back with her teal colored sister, Delta, in his mouth. He placed Delta inside before reaching towards Blue, putting her back into the nest. He nosed both of them, sending them comfort through his purring. Delta was lulled to sleep, but not Blue. She watched as her papa once again left the nest. Blue squealed after him.

Blue once again was out of the nest, having to struggle when a bit of dried grass stuck between her teeth when she Papa came back again, now having her brown color sister, Echo. Papa stopped shortly, eyeing towards at Blue, who squealed with happiness at his attention towards her.

I've been around the world and never in my wildest dreams
Would I come running home to you
I've told a million lies but now I tell a single truth

Papa let out a wordless sigh, first setting down Echo before reaching again for Blue, placing her back inside the nest. He licked both of their tummies, sending them into a giggling fit. That lulled Echo to sleep, but not Blue.

Papa once again left, and Blue growled in frustration. She once again started her journey out of the nest, grunting during the process. She was finally out of the nest again, and shaking of a dead twig that had curled around her tail. Papa once again came back, this time with two little other baby velociraptors. One was green with black stripes outlined in white and the other was a creamed colored with red spots around his eyes. Charlie and Ramses, the 3rd and 2nd youngest. Ramsey was trying to snitch on Papa bandages.

Papa once again halted, eyeing towards Blue. Blue wordlessly smile. Papa let out an exasperated sigh. He placed both Charlie and Ramsey, and picked up Blue once more. He place his head on top of their baby bodies, being careful to not push all of his weight onto them. Somehow, Charlie and Ramsey stopped fidgeting and were lured into sleep. But once again, not Blue.

Blue had a ‘wtf’ moment, going as still as she could. Once her papa removed his head, Blue immediately raised her head, looking up at her father. As Papa was starting to leave, Blue quickly stood up before papa went any further, but to her surprise, Papa quickly turned around and Blue jumped in surprise.

Papa growled soft and lowly, not enough to scare the youngling but enough to make her cower in place.

‘Stay.’ Was what papa seem to say, before he fully turned around to fetch for the last youngling.

Blue growled in frustration, plopping upon the nest lazily. Papa finally returned with the youngest youngling, who was already asleep. Papa gently put down her dark gray with green streak scale brother, Grenade, onto the nest, nudging him towards Delta and Echo. Grenade only whimpered before snuggling Delta.

Papa finally hopped in and settled down on the nest. Using his tail and head, he bundled up the younglings and let them rest at the crook of his neck. Blue found the opportunity to rub her head on her father's neck. Papa grunted, nudging Blue, purring. It was obviously that Papa wanted her to go to sleep. But Blue felt like she was in a sugar rush.

All day Papa hardly had time to play with her. He was always busy. Taking care of her other siblings, he only gave her few minutes of attention before going to the next youngling who was calling for his name.

Blue looked at her Papa closely, inspecting every scratch and little cut that he held in blood red hide, most of them were from her sibling. And a few bite marks from Echo and Ramsey. Surprisingly, she never saw her Papa yelp or made a sound of pain when he gotten hurt by her siblings. He did flinch, but otherwise, her Papa was a strong raptor.

She always found her Papa fascinating. From his blood red hide and strong muscles, to his blue cat like eyes that held a certain fire into them.

Blue chirped, nuzzling her father lovingly. ‘Thank you for being with us Papa.’

Her Papa’s eyes widen a bit before giving a throaty laugh. He affectionately licked Blue, humming lullabies. Blue let out a giggle, before she a lulled to sleep.

To be honest, Owen still blames the InGen scientists for giving him the ability to transform into a Velociraptor. And he was still livid.

But in other words, he was glad he was able to connect even closer to his kids. And would have bet his life if he were never to meet them.

This was for fathers day, however, I had no internet and I have been very busy. So enjoy! Also I added baby Grenade and Ramsey because I couldn't get enough velociraptor

Also, Owen is Were-Raptor in this story, and he’s a more red color than an brown and orange color. I wanted to try something new.
