And then Flammie took levels in Dragoon and sh*t got real.Actually it's not really supposed to be Flammie, but heavily inspired by.
This took quite a long while for something so "simple & small", around 6-8 hours I believe.
Done in Painter IX.

I dunno why every one keeps calling them Flammies. Flammie is a specific mana beast. (That's like calling all Ewoks, Wicket. Or all Wookiees, Chewies) He was named by the King of Matango, and he is special because he is white and was prophesied to carry the Hero from Secret of Mana. But the species of dragon is called a Mana Beast. And they can be seen flying free in the wilds of the upper lands during actual gameplay, though they are never an enemy and shy away from the players. They are also pinkish purple in the wild. (like the Mena beast at the end)
The Mana Beast boss at the end of the game was a protector that was called to destroy the Mana fortress, But it was too powerful and would have killed many things if it actually destroyed the fortress. Which is why the heroes have to slay it, even though it is good.
Sorry for the rambling. I'm a huge fan of the series, and that particular species of dragon.
Lovely art by the way. I think it's fantastic, and I love the design. The armor is gorgeous and has a very Legend of Mana feel to it.

Cool to see a Secret of Mana fan (of course, even though it isn't supposed to be "Flammie"). Great piece though, the colours are soft but the red and blue work together to be quite vibrant and eye-catching. Great stuff!

Das Design ist so simpel wie super, so als würde man sich nicht mehr wünschen können, ohne irgendwas zu überladen, aber wenn man nur eine Sache wegnimmt, wird es irgendwie viel weniger.
