Description
The dance between artist and painting. I want to make a lot more in this Duet series. The figure is 10" tall if standing, sculpted in polymer clay over a wire armature. The background is painted in acrylic paints.Related content

I can almost believe this is real! Yet you didn't stop at simply "realistic", but went beyond it to vibrant and lifelike. There is the perfect amount of tension in their poses that makes it seem like they are in the middle of a movement.

I totally understand why you named these "Duet", and I can believe that many others titles came to mind. It must be hard to label art within art. Allow me to thank you for your inspiration and fresh approach to traditional / sculpture / figurative.

I actually thought this was real at first (before I actually used my brain and read the description), which makes me feel like a dunce because I'm a sculptor too and should know when I see a sculpture.
