Description
A character who's set to appear in my Spider-Man/Equestria Girls fanfic, The Awesome Spider-Dash .ΒWhile half the time, the man named Sombra is a kind selfless man who goes to great length to provide food and housing for countless homeless people through his many F.E.A.S.T shelters...the other half he turns into his negative side, effectively becoming a ruthless psychopath in the process, willing to kill, maim or corrupt anyone in his way to stealing the money necessary to pay for all his altruistic deeds.
When he's positive, he can heal wounds and cure decease with just a touch, when he's negative, he can create destructive blasts of dark energy and corrupt the minds of those he lays his hands on, and as such, has amassed quite a number of loyal followers all wearing strange masks when under his control.
Basically, he's an amalgamation of the Spider-Man character Martin Li/Mister Negative and King Sombra from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Let me know what you think in the comments below.Β

Does he shift into mister negative via negative emotions or something?

Well, Mister Negative is essentially all of Sombra's boiled up rage and selfish impulses in one personality, and can therefore come out when he's angry enough...and sometimes when he feels in danger too, as his dark side has more ways to physically defend himself than his positive side. Essentially, while he might seem like the nicest guy in the world, if you piss him off, he won't stay that way.Β
Other times, through a form of meditation, he can actually turn himself from one to the other when it feels convenient to him, such as tapping into his anger when he needs more money or wants to get rid of someone...or tapp into his compassion and altruism when he needs to help suffering people. In that way, he maintains a strange form of balance between his two halves...and his greatest fear is losing that balance.Β

Well, he was turned into what he is against his will by this guy , and was a perfectly ordinary person before that happened...yet, even so, he does intentionally choose to become Mister Negative at times, and he's pretty irresponsible for letting that happen so often...so you might say that he's both a villain on purpose and not at the same time.Β Β
