CHIPMUNK!! This is the best thing ever
See, among raccoons, polar bears, dreamcatchers, snowglobes and Dalmatians, chipmunks are some of my favourite things, and this little one is totally adorable. I need myself a chipmunk horse. Stat.
The champagne base works so well, and I love the white eyeliner and his little White foot ^^. Lovely design!

Thanks. I was able to make up a few drafts of tobiano markings and then let Spikes pick/mix-n-match what she liked best for her little chipmunk foal. I actually had a lot of fun doing designing (hmmm, maybe something I could play around more with... minus my complete lack of genetics knowledge

You totally sold me. So fast it isn't even funny. I need a Chipmunk pony in my life. I asked about them, but I think its just an import or breeding acquisition, so it may take a while to get one I really like. I'll see. I may be able to find a breeding pair to help.
But yes - I adore the idea of having a friendship in my stable like Vita and Guiness

And you're welcome! I find tobiano one of the hardest patterns to design, but I think you did a nice job here. The outcome is so cute! And don't worry - genetics is a learning process. (In fact, if you're interested, I was typing up 'genetics lessons' for someone else last year. Just working slowly through the main genes and how they interact etc. If you want, I could note them to you starting with the first. Up to you - if you want to have fun on your own then its not a problem

They are imports/breeding (it took me a while to get my peacock draft), but I know you'll be able to get one. I think the group does fairly regular imports (Faime Parades) and then I always see adverts in the group advertising-and-or-looking-for breeding spots. And with all your genetics knowledge, I'm sure you'd be able to get almost exactly what you are looking for. 
As soon as I saw the image of the big/small horse friends, I instantly thought of your stables for some reason. If there is anyone I know who puts in the effort to developing their farm, and do some amazing behind-the-scenes character development, it has to be you and Lakewood farm. I would just love to see that type of interaction with a mini at Lakewood (or even like you said, having a mini be the barnyard "dog-like" pet who follows everyone around). I get excited just waiting to see where you will take it. 
I would actually totally LOVE to get some genetics notes from you. You do such a great job explaining that stuff and it'd be nice to have to be able to refer to in the future as well.
No hurry (my brain is already juggling a million other things right now), but whenever you get some free time, feel free to start sending those notes.

I will dig up the notes from before and send you the first one asap, then! I got a fair way through before other stuff caught up, so you should have a number of notes/lessons good to go before we catch up to where I had to stop. Hopefully by then I'll have progressed again
