I know I've already told you this, but I honestly have to say that I like how not-anorexic Niobe is in these pages. She looks like she could actually have organs in that body, now.

If it were someone other than Dusty, than I'd say this would be the premise for a "rescue the damsel in distress" type story. But we all know Dusty most certainly isn't that type.
I'm seriously loving the cut-out style of this, and how the colors and textures interplay with each other. Question - how long does it take you to put one of these pages together?

Honestly, I can't say. I was in a groove for a while where, each night, I'd finish the backgrounds and inking on one comic and cutting out the characters on the next but that got messed up when school started. Plus, I didn't start the digital work until I was already five pages into the project. I can say I've been working basically since they announced the round. It took a while to get a plan and all the materials, though.
