I made this concept/illustration to have a better idea of how this interaction of Shadow carrying Maria would work. It is perhaps one of the hardest drawings I've ever done, as this interaction between characters is pretty difficult! But I believe it came out alright.Before this, there was another design of Maria wearing another hat, that is a winter one. It's been causing confusion in some people, so I just change it to... this. I don't really know the name, I only know it's very iconic from El Chavo.
So what are your thoughts on this? Any feedback? I would be glad to hear what you have to say

I Really like this picture, it's cute, It's got personality, and the detail here is spectacular. Honesty if i had any sort of complaint it would be pretty minor and barely any complaint to write home about. The the biggest (that's still very small) issue I could see with this piece is that Maria's hair isn't present, I assume that it's because this maria either has very short hair or none at all. And if the ladder is what is happening then that's a very interesting detail since the cannon Maria is known to have a disease, which makes that kinda fitting (even if the disease itself is not only fictional but doesn't have the aspect of losing hair. but this is an alternate Maria so it still works) in a way where she'd almost always wear the hat.
Another little detail I noticed is that Sonic Boom shadow is used here, considering that we don't know if Boom Shadow has the same backstory or not to the Cannon shadow I would enjoy seeing your interpretation on how his backstory would be (Considering I have very low hope that they would go over that in the show since Boom Shadow seems to only be used for the season finale's and that's about it.) since all of Sonic Boom takes place on a single Island.

I gotta say, you got pretty much everything right! That makes me happy, because that means the design is good and it works. Yes, Maria is hairless, and yes, it is due to a disease. If you were able to deduce that just by looking at her, than that means I succeeded in her design, and it's a huge relief XD
However, that Shadow isn't from Sonic Boom. I just got inspired by Boom's design to make this one, that's why it's so similar
