Description
The final project for my Layout for Animation class, i was pretty happy with it so i decided to upload it.Done with pencil, fine liner and Promarkers.

I think the reason I like this so much is because of the amazing detail. Now, I mean this in the best of ways, but whenever you draw a background it just seems a little lacking (Tetramites being an exception). However, this time the detail in the background is actually quite good. It's the small things, really (the various tools on the floor, the gas canisters as well as the picture and calendar on the wall, and the view of the outside through the garage door)

Well usually the backgrounds are only an after thought after i've finished the main part of the pic, i dont really enjoy doing them all that much, but for this one it was for college so i put my full effort into it, to get the best grade after all

That makes sense, it does seem pretty logical to put more effort into the main subject rather than the surrounding background.
