Description Again, another quick sketch, one of these day's I'm going to actually take it seriously and try to draw properly and probably fail miserably, however I was actually just drawing some poses from amazing gallery full of great action poses and I got a bit carried away and drew him into Garrus... theeen I drew a collector, and placed a bomb into his hands, and well, who knows what will happen next.

Don't you just love it when Garrus jumps over obstacles in ME2? I used to make him do it deliberately! hehe, because I always play as an infiltrator I tend to use Garrus and Thane, and Thane and Shepard are so smooth at jumping over obstacles, and then, Garrus just seams big and clumsy! and it makes me smile! I'm twisted like that! Also he looks so funny when they're sneaking/running up on Harkin in his loyally mission, it looks so funny and out of place next to Shepard and Thane!
>.>
<.<
... I'm rambling again!

Wow .. watch out, Garrus! Don't need to have more pieces blown off of you.

I love that pose actually, I really need to capture it in-game for future reference.

haha, me too!! I love capturing shots of the characters in game for future reference!! Because I've got an xbox I use a digital camera. They come out really cool looking actually, because of the lines and things they always look just like security cameras, a bit like the shadow broker's files!!

Yes poor garrus!! He should hurry there's only 1 sec left!! O_O

I have to resort to that myself sometimes, but luckily I have the Mass Effect games in both Xbox and PC versions so I can take hi-def in-game screenshots on my computer as well.

Oh dear! I didn't notice that actually.

I have the PC version too but it doesn't work on my PC, and there's nothing wrong with the game but when I went to sell it again in a second hand game shop they said they wouldn't take it because the online code had been used but I never used it because it didn't work, my computer's not hi-tech enough, so I have a spare PC version of ME1 and I have no idea what to do with it because everyone I know already has a copy.

I don't really mind taking shots with my camera though, they come out looking like security camera shots, and I kinda like it!!

I've just realised... it's not 1sec left... it's 1 minute!!! I can't believe it! I'm sooo stupid!!

Yeah, you need quite a powerful machine to even run it. Even on my newest machine that is quite nice, i5 processor, 8 Gb RAM and 1 Gb graphics, I get a lot of framerate issues with it. If I were you, I'd hang on to the game and wait for better times. Eventually, you'll own a computer capable of handling it.

Lol, that's what happened when I bought Crysis about four years ago. Couldn't run it at all and it wasn't until last year I actually could. Only, the game kept crashing my computer every ten minutes or so so in the end I gave up and watch the rest of the game on YouTube.

Yeah I know but usually you get colours and details a bit warped which wouldn't do for my needs. I'm using my Canon EOS 400D for those shots so I rarely get interference patterns.

Ha ha, oh right ...

Well my laptop is fine on other games but, well whenever I go to play it it come's up with an error message and says it can't load the first screen, (which is just a pop-up settings screen) I don't know what it is, maybe it's because the game says it only supports windows XP and vista, and windows 7 is too new? I got a refurbished laptop with a NVIDIA graphics card, and all the other specs are better then the ones on the box...

I just find it's better on the xbox because all the games work and you don't have to fiddle around with settings and worrying about the spec or anything like that, you just buy the game, get home, play the game!

Oh well, laptops, unless you go for an extreme version, usually come equipped with weaker graphics cards to begin with. I know lots of people have problems when trying to use them for gaming and it usually seems to be some graphics card failure.

Plus, I just remembered that for ME1 you must download a patch for it to work at all. I can't even launch the game without it. Perhaps you should try that and see what happens? You can find it here, or just Google for Mass Effect patch which I did: [link]

That's exactly why I switched to console gaming some years ago. I got totally fed up with having to upgrade my computer every second year, not to mention broke, ha ha.

Well it is a pretty extreme laptop, I got it because it's 'meant' to be a gamer's laptop, and all of my other games work on it, but mass effect wont even launch, it just errors out every time I click play.

Oohh thanks!! I will install the patch and try again!! ~

Yeah, consoles are expensive, but not as expensive as having to update your computer every year or so! -_-

Skyward-Dreamer In reply to RevanREK [2012-02-02 11:44:50 +0000 UTC]

Oh in that case it might be that you need that patch because without it, the game won't even launch. I hope that works for you! Let me know, won't you?

Oh no, definitely not. Plus, a single console will last many years whereas you'd have to update your computer about every two years just to keep up, lol. For example, my newest Xbox slim cost me 2,000 Swedish Kronor, but a good gaming computer would go for about 15,000 so the maths are quite simple in this case.
