Description For the people who are going to send me a note saying that evolution is a conspiracy set up by the CDC and the NSA that is carried out by the scientific community (or whatever you want to believe) ...BUG OFF!

For those people who are going to send me a note saying that evolution never happened because it wasn't in the Bible, and that what really happened is the story of Adam and Eve... You should read more carefully. There are three creation stories in Genesis and Adam had another wife before Eve. AND please, go to a natural history museum and see the fossil record. And stop taking a book so litteral, because if it were word for word litteral I would have been smited a long time ago ... along with some of my favorite people.

By the way, 2 am is usually when I think best. I get all sarcastic and impatient, makes for good icons. And the comment about the bible and evolution was meant for the strict bible NUTS out there, you know the ones that say dinosaurs never existed because they weren't in the bible. So yeah the two can blend together, but only for people who do not have their minds closed as tightly as a bank vault. I applaud you for being one of the sensible ones! I personally think the bible is a big collection of folk tales and anecdotes meant to teach morals; basically a big book of mythology (just the Christian version of mythology).

Actually our limited genetic variability makes it highly unlikely that we will escape or evade evolution. Our DNA will have to continually mutate so that it doesn't just run itself into oblivion in a few hundred thousand years. That is evolution by natural selection. Part of the problem is that humans evolve at such an incredibly slow pace, our morphology is now adapted to an environment that existed 10,000 years ago.
Not to mention that if some natural disaster happens on a very large scale that limited genetic variability I was talking about would dictate that a very large scale of our population would not be able to evolve fast enough to avoid extinction. Then the species would have to basically start over from scratch with an even more limited genetic information. Seriously, this has happened before hundreds of times just for the human evolutionary line.
