Excellent composition, not an ordinary snake shot. I rather like the shallower DOF, but yet catching the rattle in the background.

Sorry yeah I didn't know what is was at first and it took me forever to figure out how to do it. Anyways, in case you were curious it is where you put your camera in manual mode and take a pic where the shutter stays open from 1 second up to 30 sec (or longer depending on your camera). Also, depends on the lighting as to how long to use.

In that case, it was a long exposure. I am still figuring out my camera, unfortunately I have not yet mastered its functions.
