As always, just wonderful! A lot of depth in this one, too. And it combines nicely with the description to really make one think. Beautiful work, as always!

Oh, evil, LOL.

Excellent composition, not an ordinary snake shot. I rather like the shallower DOF, but yet catching the rattle in the background.

Great shot, I Like the blurred skull in the background...the tail being in the frame lets us know what kind of snake this is...I like how dark it is, it looks almost like you went down into its den and took this shot... Great job!!

Exposure? I'm a new photographer, I don't even know what some terms mean...

Sorry yeah I didn't know what is was at first and it took me forever to figure out how to do it. Anyways, in case you were curious it is where you put your camera in manual mode and take a pic where the shutter stays open from 1 second up to 30 sec (or longer depending on your camera). Also, depends on the lighting as to how long to use.

[link] < [link] << a 30 second long exposure of still life photography. It helps to bring out more detail.

In that case, it was a long exposure. I am still figuring out my camera, unfortunately I have not yet mastered its functions.

I have been lucky so far though, capturing "decent" photos.

Those eyes...their so entrancing...I like the fact that you managed to capture the tail in the background without drawing away attention from the detail of the snakes face...

Then I have done my job.... my goal, in photography, is to capture the viewer's feelings and emotions out into the scene.

Wanna hold my snake?
