Description Now that summer's over, I won't be able to post as often, but I did manage to paint a quick thing today. Three of my favorite literary dorks, in the order I met them, in fact:
The unlucky playwright Pierre Gringoire (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), perhaps lost in a philosophical reverie... or studying the fire.
The awkward but passionate Marius Pontmercy (Les Miserables), stalking shyly watching Cosette from behind a book (which is probably upside-down), and
The clumsy and only-slightly-pathetic viscount Raoul de Chagny (The Phantom of the Opera), who has just been reminded yet again to keep his hand at the level of his eyes.

For some reason, it's always the dork who ends up being my favorite character.


And unfortunately, I have yet to see Sweeney Todd, so I'm afraid Antony can't be counted yet

Haha, I don't know; Marius is just so adorable and socially awkward. I tend to fall for those characters, I guess.

Gringoire is someone you don't see very often. I remember the first time I read "The Hunchback...". I was a kid, and had just seen Disney's HoND, so I was all : "who is this guy!?!"
