On March 6, I met a famous tango maestro of St. Petersburg at a gran milonga. He was looking damn like Mercer Frey, and I, being a fandom baby even at a milonga, gathered my guts and asked him if I could take a photo and paint his portrait. He agreed, and after all, we made a good acquaintance due to that. He even invited me for a dance; for you all to know, being invited by a maestro from another city is a great luck and an exceptional honour (especially when you are me, a tango timberwood ).
After I got my reference, I started paiting - but got stuck in the beginning. That was a shame, I knew. But I could not bring myself to drawing it. He was still looking like Mercer, and I've had no desire to do anything related with Mercer and TES for a long time, 'cause my heart was stormed and destroed by Mass Effect.
Tomorrow, Alexey Barbolin comes to my town again, now for another gran milonga and a related series of masterclasses (which I will not attend since I desied to spend money prepared for them on an Xbox HDD for Inquisition ), and it's my chance to pay the debt: I have done it.

I had to wait SIX MONTHS and finish everything in about five hours.

Quite an uncommon technique for me. I'm proud of what I've got at last. Maybe my best work by now.
