So it's been a while since I've done a portrait. I've missed it. But honestly, every time I went out, no faces around me inspired me enough to ask them for a shot. This guy was different. His beard, obviously, was the first attraction. Then I went up to him, asked him how he was, told him that he had a great beard, and then asked for his portrait. He asked me if I was a professional, and I said no, so he pleasantly agreed. I told him I'd like to give him a print, and he said that he was in the park pretty much every day. And that's that.

interesting waves (the beard and hair) vs lines (his shirt) and the noise from the background gives this a mix-match of wonderful ideas although i do wonder what that black thing behind him is... and yeah, there's always a yes out of most of the no you get when u ask around for a portrait.
