Are you doing all the hammering by hand ?
I converted a small cheap air hammer with a ball bearing for the tip. It cuts down the work time considerably but takes some time to learn how to control effectively. The neat thing is you can make interchangeable tips for it...

Hello ou8nrtist2 !
thanks for your comment - i'am realy glad, that you like my dragon.
I've watched all of your works on your pages and I see that I have to deal with a master
your works are really good
Air Hammer it's a cool idea, but as far, my works are not too big and i prefer to operate using my
hand tools only - then I have better control on the line.
Usually, I work on really thin plates of copper, so I'm afraid that if I used the machine, I could quickly
destroy what I do .
Excuse me, for so slow response, but last days I was quite busy in my studio. Now i'm trying to work on
further pieces and I'm on my last legs. I,ve just finished another plate and I will be very grateful for your crittical attention
- I appreciate them
Ophelia is absolutely great - very strongly associated with the works of the préraphaélite and of course with the works of
Alfons Mucha.
once again thanks for the coment and I hope that we can exchange comments and observations about the work and techniques.
and at the end, sorry for my english skills - i still try to learn but it's not easy for me

My friend,
Your English is good enough...
I look forward to seeing more of your work.
I also understand why you wish to use only hand tools.
The greater control is reflected in the high quality of your repousse.
You seem to be able to tap into very ancient looking thematic motifs...I love it !
