The irony behind this picture. xD

Anyways, this is the lesson that I taught myself while doing this piece... I should never be afraid to try new things, to let my imagination go wild. I shouldn't let others opinions and ideas influence the way I want to do things. I should be expressive and not afraid to try new things.

I shouldn't be afraid to defy physics in my pictures, or to defy the "laws" of shadowing (if there is such a thing).

Just make something I want to make, and make it look how I would like it to - even if it means the shadows aren't correct, or my lighting's off, or he may be in the air and his hair is going one way but the bandages on his leg is going the other direction.

Haha, this is turning out to be more of a rant than a lesson, but yeah. This is about the power of music and how I feel as though it can lift us up and brighten our day. My days have been pretty bad lately, and I stumbled upon this awesome (free!) music: [link] . Almost everything by that artist has a very upbeat style. I enjoy it a lot and it puts me in a better mood. And I felt compelled to draw something!

So here you go. I kind of reverted back to my old style with this one. :] Enjoooy. *Out of breath*
