Description
This is my flag for the Equatorial Union from Gundam Seed. The flag's design is a combination of the flags of ASEAN and India.

The Equatorial Union was founded after the Reconstruction War ended when India and a few other Southeast Asian countries joined ASEAN. The Equatorial Union is more of a Economic Union rather than a Political Union, each member nation of the Equatorial Union follows its own independent course where military and diplomatic matters are concerned its member nations have economic dealings with both the PLANTs and the Earth Alliance. Originally the Equatorial Union was led by a Secretary General but the position was changed to President when the Equatorial Union Central Government began to gain greater power. It was the Central Government hoping to gain greater authority over the Union's member nations that made the Equatorial Union join the Earth Alliance in both the Bloody Valentine Wars. This caused many of the Union's member nations to move for their independence in C.E. 75 utimately causing the Federal War between the Atlantic and Eurasian Federation's.

The capital is New Delhi, the currency is the Equatorial Monetary Unit, the Working language is English.
