Ahhh, you're THE expert. THANKS.
I really love language(s) and I
remember listening ~at times ~ to my
mom's mom speak Swedish. I can get by in
German, but Swedish...it's tough!
Thanks for getting back...

THANKS. The juror didn't...funny how these old,
traditional, copy-the-photo watercolors, really catch
fire on dA. Thanks again for your very nice comments...

Because they are carefuly done, it is easy to do so called modern art, but to set up beautiful scene like this need more skills. In era of photoshop it is nice and fresh to see something diferent.

Thanks so much...I'm thrilled that someone
as 'cutting edge' as you are with your superb
pieces, can still 'relate' to this old stuff.
I hesitate submitting it, but it was a big part
of my beginnings in w/c. THANKS again!

I oftentimes think (or thought) that the one great mistake
made by 'Show officials' is that there is only ONE JUROR and
(really a mistake) ONLY ONE JUDGE. A lot of favoritism is shown
in these shows, at least that's what I remember, especially if
an artist takes a workshop from a judge, his (more likely her)
piece is admitted/awarded. That's why I just don't enter stuff
any more. Anyway, I'm glad you like this submission. My traditional
w/c usually does much better...fine, whatever. AND THANKS AGAIN!!!
