Description I had to strip in a couple more 'visual' elements
to give this piece a human side - the snakes
alone just didn't do it for me. W/C, etc etc

Your work is very individual and surrealistic. I really like the 'Alien' series, but so may to choose from...

Hay mucho que ver en esta obra.............. MirΓ‘ndola verticalmente me sugiere un paisaje surrealista rocoso que se pierde en el horizonte. Me encanta..

Trish - Thanks for saving my Snakes' Shore.
I've had a downer of a week - driving buses - and
the one thing that - I confess, I'm getting whacky -
made my week, was The Wedding. It was surely the highlight of my
week, and I'm only one-quarter English!!! Maybe it's
just, like the song: Young Love. When Charles and Di got
hitched, I had a girlfriend...so THAT wedding went
unnoticed. All the world was 'in love' then. Today, I'm
wiser but sadder. That's life, if ya live long enough.
Thanks for...the English and ... The Wedding.

You're Dick!.....
The wedding was so lovely...I can't believe how many people watched it.....The music in the cathedral made me cry....I'm glad the clothes were elegant and simple instead of over the top.....even the flowersin the cathedral
were the ones growing in my garden ....and I loved the trees inside the building too.....Did you notice that it didn't rain....You can bet that most arranged events in England are accompanied by rain.............We had the largest street party in England just near to us...but we stayed in to watch the wedding

I kept thinking of how you, ie The English, must be transported
to never-neverland with such a blessed event...and again: I'm NOT
gaga on weddings in general. It just kind of give the world a pause
to enjoy something positive, solid, spiritual (and I'm not religious)
and joyful to dwell on for a while. On our CNN news channel it was
like a kind of Jeckle and Hyde kind of thing. Our southeastern US
had just been destroyed by surprise tornadoes which claimed over
300 lives so far AND...the joyful Wedding. England has a way of
preserving tradions; one (like me) sees it in their films and
Masterpiece Theatre dramas - how they preserve everything: cars,
buses, trains (Just watch an old episode of David Suchet in Poirot!)
I am also fond of the music. (I have a BA in that subject) But
especially I am just beginning to research the music of Sir Charles
Hubert Hastings Parry. Several of his choral works were performed.
All....awesome. I can imagine the street party, the pubs etc etc...
DIck G (PS there's a [English]pub in downtown Minneapolis that had
lines of people in front, starting at 4AM !!! Waiting for toast
and jam, crumpets and tea, and wearing colorful hats. We should
never have fought the revolution!!!!)

I just wish I'd wanted to play the church organ when I was young...my father played the organ in churches around us.....shortage of organists I think so as I went with him as a page turner I saw the inside of various religious buildings !!!

We don't have many horrors inflicted on us....it's mostly rain related and rivers overflowing in the estuaries and flooding buildings and washing thing away.....we do also have flood plains where stupid builders have built huge housing estates,....all of which flood when it rains hard ...and insurances become unavailable in these areas ....so just as they clear things up they have another flood and start clearing up again!....Suppose we are lucky ....in a way.....and living in a wonderland.....except for money troubles......and no jobs for the young people! The monarchy does bring money into our wonderland!....Just going to toast a crumpet...

WOW! I can't imagine a more inspiring bonding experience -
not only with dad but also with listening to all that
beautiful organ music!!! Lucky girl!!! A year ago, I took
all my savings and bought a Yamaha Motif XS8 = it's not just
an instrument, it's EVERY INSTRUMENT. And it has at least
15-20 organ sounds to sample. During last summer, I tried to
memorize Bach's ('Little') G Minor Fugue. Never quite got
there, but it was surely fun. I haven't bought speakers
yet, but have a great set of Bose Earphones. My wife and
22 year-old don't want to listen to me anyway. So, I'm in
my own world when I play it...

Trish - I'll just bet you're a teacher - of young people?
I'm a worrier also - so much so that it prohibited a
career in the performance arts. I was truly into the guitar
and played in a wedding band primarily...and others.
When the 'audience' is either drinking, dancing or otherwise
NOT paying any attention (to me) - I play my heart out. But
at the University, my major instrument was the classical
guitar, and to play it before an audience - my hands went
cold as steel. No fun...I read ya!!!
