When I simply look outside at the moon I see a still mysterious body, a magical source of light, but too out of my everyday reality to care more and to wonder.
When I look at this picture, even more so in a full view it makes me think how from space we see our own planet as a beautiful composition of colors and shapes, intriguing, inviting, full of mysteries, but that doesn't nearly tell its whole story, the diversity, the places, the people, the life, and the smallest beautiful secrets. Upon seeing in such great detail something that I'm so used to casually just look up to it really makes me wonder what would it be like to really be there, to know what lies behind those heights and depths and fine lines: what happened there?, has anyone ever lived there?, is there a richer history of our two planets than what we know?...
It's fabulous that so much can be visually revealed through technology, especially in doing this individually, that we can see more and contemplate more and ask more questions that take us on...
