Wow! Two convertibles two! Better save 'em before they become nutrients for plants!

poor old thing... reminds me of a poem I wrote about an old pick up truck. If only I could find the damn thing.

it's just down the street from my apartment..there's actually two of them in the garage..one in worse shape than the other! Thanks for the comment and the fave!

Wow really? It's so sad to see cars end up like that. There's an old Chrysler 300 next to my grandmother's house just sitting out exposed in the street. It even has an "antique car" plate on it but the owner just doesn't seem to care the slightest bit.

I was surprised to see these cars like this...the building looks like it is ready to collapse and both the cars seem like they could be restored to their former glory without too much trouble. It's a shame!

I suppose that's true. But you'd think if this owner couldn't restore them he'd sell them to someone who could!

Yeah, but I have the same situation with my father. They just can't let go, or are too stubborn to try. There's a '68 Dodge Charger and a '70 Dodge Challenger in my father's garage just waiting for the metallic cancer of rust to claim them.

I guess guys do tend to form great attachments to cars. I gotta admit though...I do love me some rusty stuff!

I love classic cars and it greaves me to see them fall into this condition.
A great shot my friend, albeit sad.

I know...I was thinking that as I was taking the photos. There's actually two cars...a blue one behind this one...both are in sad shape!

Yes, I thought there was a second set of sun visors in the background. The red Triumph looks like it was abused - way too much work to restore - even if it was a TR5 [link] A friend had a dark green TR3 from the '50's, but it always needed attention.
