When Maku was escaping the spirit world, the VSrangers were aware of this sudden change of the future and quickly took action to stop him and the 4 other villains he was going to bring back.

They fought long and hard, but ultimately the 5 Great villains had the higher power and crushed the VSrangers to dust. Maku and the others happily continue their escape to crush the newest group of Super Sentais, the Gekirangers.

Although the VSrangers were crushed to dust, their Fighting Damashi (Spirits) could never disappear. Hence the soul of each ranger searched far and wide around the world to find hosts with the specific qualities and virtues to give them a form to defeat the treat.

Blue Dimension was a science geek. He was always bullied and used as an escap-goat. The last straw was when he finally realized he was manipulated by his girlfriend and the fact that she never loved him from the very beginning. He studied the art of flirtation, the Kama sutra, as well as the art of persuasion. He later became a rich playboy, but not one that hurts the hearts of women. Although he changed in many ways, his interests for the mystery of the universe, science, and unexplained phenomena, inspires him to continue designing newer and better equipment to conduct scientific research for future generations to come.

AoBlue felt his curiosity, wisdom and his dreams for the future in him and appeared in his dream to ask him to be his host. Because of his knowledge of time and space, AoBlue gave him the force of the Ohrangers and the Timerangers.
