"Das macht Spaß", Aquarell und Marker auf Aquarellpapier, 21x30cm. Gemalt 2018.
Die neue Version meines Bilds "Allergie" www.deviantart.com/rieke-b/art… , das zuerst ein Einzelbild bleiben sollte. Eine Weile später habe ich dann mehr Ideen für diese beiden Figuren bekommen und fing mit einer kleinen Aquarell-Bilderserie an, die die beiden auf Reisen zeigt. Sie besuchen verlassene Orte und Landschaften, ohne irgendwelche anderen Leute zu treffen, also tragen sie ihre Schutzanzüge vermutlich doch nicht nur wegen einer Allergie...
Die Titel sind Zitate der Figur in orange, die vernünftiger ist als die andere.
Zu der Zeit war die Corona-Pandemie noch weit entfernt...

"This is fun", watercolours and markers on watercolour paper, 21x30cm. Painted in 2018.
The new version of my painting "Allergy" www.deviantart.com/rieke-b/art… , wich was meant to stand for itself at first, but I got more ideas for these two characters after a while and decided to start a series of watercolour paintings, showing them making a journey. They'll visit abandoned places and landscapes without meeting anybody else, so I think they don't wear the masks and protective suits simply because of an allergy after all...
The titles are quotes of the character in the orange suit, who is more reasonable than the other one.
The Covid-19 pandemic was still far away back then...
