Description
I was finally able to 'design' *does excessively dramatic inverted commas* myself an anthro kind of character. She is based on myself, and therefore has a personality like me, loves the same things as me, and will most likely wear clothes that I actually have IRL. This was one of the early sketches...pfft who am I kidding, it was the first sketch of her.

Facts. About. Her :

She's a creature created by my mum, trying to describe what kind of mammal I would be. She came up with this strange character, a Dinglebat. She is the prehistoric version of a bat (this is completely fictional, so don't go looking it up). They resemble their modern day decedents, although they have a short rodent like tail, and are thought to have been considerably larger in size. They have sharp carnivorous teeth for eating rodents and other small mammals, and slightly more human like hands, webbed from the second knuckle. It was also thought that these creatures could walk upright, yet their sleeping habits and wild nature was the same as their counterparts nowadays. She is the only known living member of the prehistoric species.

Her fur is a conspicuous white, except for the black on the back parts of her ears, the brown/black spots on her back, and the streaks of black through her (cream/white) hair.

These are her most worn pieces of clothing, and most likely hiding beneath her jacket is an oversize black t-shirt bearing a red dragon. If she wears shoes, they are similar in resemblance to gumboots. She stores a music system in the pocket of her jacket to which the headfones belong. Her hair is usually worn in pigtails, sometimes these are small buns, or even a row of 3 small buns on each side of her parting. She wears bells on a bit of rope to tie it up.

There are many things that you, as a viewer will discover about the Dinglebat as you get to know her, but here's a few clues to get you started.

StarGate - she has seen most of the series, has the symbol for Earth on her shorts, and is readily collecting the whole series on DVD.
Star Trek - she has seen all of the more recent series, Next Generation, Voyager, and Deep Space 9, and longs to go to exhibitions when they're on in the Sydney Power House Museum.
Star Wars - ...Things explode.
Gaming - Her favourite past time (other than watching StarGate and Star Trek), and has recently been called a "Crash Fan Girl", Final Fantasy graphics and music make her heart squeal with graphix whore joy.
Anime - Your normal vampire and violence addicted dinglebat, her favourites include Hellsing, VHD: Bloodlust, Spirited Away and Cowboy Bebop.
Her pets - the slavery of random friends ( ~DoktorSkell you often see her carrying his leash), Charlie the pyromaniac Febbit and his 2 little friends who belong to *carnival and ~ Ashtoreth and a small cloud that follows her around on occasions.
Holidays - She will flail all over you when it is someone's birthday, especially when it is her own. Christmas and Halloween she also especially enjoys.
