agreed, i've never cried reading a manga before until i read Inubaka. the first volume had me sobbing during the scene with Ricky. the second time was when Suguri had those two kids read the 10 promises while it showed the badly abused dog, Hinomaru, finally happy with his new owners. i'm so mad they cancelled the series in the US with only 4 volumes left. plus, there are no scanlators for this series either, so i'll never get to finish it now

at least you were there for him. i'm sad to say that i refused to go the day Patch had to be put to sleep. everyone else went and i stayed home alone.

i cried for weeks afterwards. i even had a dream of that day he was taken in, only in the dream Patch gave me a look and i decided to go.

I think that patch was telling you in your dream that he wanted you to go but understads why you didnt, i actully had 4 pets, 3 cats and a dog, my cat chase knew her time was comming and let to die, my dog was a few years after, his heart was failing and we didnt want him to suffer so we put him to sleep, my second cat moe got cancer and we didnt want him to suffer from it so he got put to sleep too. my Last cat Donald lost alot of weight and we thought he just got it back on really fast, but it was actully an amber colourd fluid that could cause heart failer. a few days after chase's death i had a dream where she was playing with me, just like we used to when we were younger, she was telling me that she was happy where she is now, and that she wanted me to keep the happy memories of our past close, same happend when my dog died, but chase was there with him. i belive that the spirtis of pets can come to you in dreams to let you know that they still love you, even though you cant see them; their still with you.

i agree, makes me angry that a teacher i used to have said that animals don't have souls.

my mom said that she saw Patch's ghost, he sat right down infront of her like he used to do when he wanted her to pet him.

Patch was put to sleep on my sister's birthday, Dec 13th. that Christmas was the first in the history of my family that we didn't record everyone opening gifts.

you see, Patch loved Christmas. the year we got him from the APL (he was 1 or 2 years old) he was afraid of a lot of things (he was abused). On his first Christmas with us we gave him gifts to open, he didn't know what to do first, but he learned fast. the following Christmas we came home from Church to find all the gifts unwrapped and Patch playing with one og his new toys ever since we always video taped him opening his gifts.

so that Christmas we couldn't stand to have a new family video opening gifts and not have Patch on it. to this day we haven't recorded a single Christmas.

but anyways, it was in early January that we found Riley at the kennel as a pup. they told us that he had been returned 3 times by 3 different people. we just fell in love with the pup and he seemed to like us already as he sat with us and got mad at any dog that came near us XD.

but anyways, soon after we got him home we took him to the backyard and he started barking and wagging his tail at something, then he jumped around like he was playing with another dog. i knew it was my Patchie-pup (my nickname for him) playing with Riley (my nickname for him is Riley-Roo because he jumps really high from a stand still and his ears are huge like a Kangaroo's)

wow, sometime last year, me and my mum started having what we called 'pet withdrawl' we NEEDED pets, mum started looking for dogs and cats on pet rescue sites, but we could never find one that we both wanted, until we decied to go to blacktown pound, it was almost FILLED with Staffies, there were a few dogs that we liked but somone else had already put tenders on them (like a anomyous pet auction, highest bid gets the dog, they changed it to something of interest) so i decided to look for cats, after we found out that the dogs were a no-go, i went back into the catery, now heres the cool part; i started to take numbers from cats that seemed to like me, as we belive in pet connection, you choose the pet and the pet chooses you, a carer who works there, opened one of the cages and let out this Champagen cat who walked right over to me and started rubbing aganst my leg, i liked him,i knew he was a him because his collar was blue, blue for males pink for females, so after he did that, i took his number, so after we put a tender on him i took mum to show him to her, he was all the way at the back of the cage, hiding in his basket, mum thought i bought 'a chubby little fat thing', after that we left, mum really hated it there, so the next day we get a call from the pound that we had won the cat, because no-one else put a tender on him, turns out i saved Tobias (thats what I called him) from being put down, he didnt come say hello to people because he's shy. so in the car i let him out of the cat carrier, and he just causully came onto my lap and snuggled down and started pawing me, wich ment your mine, and he wasnt fat at all, he is so light i can pick him up with one hand, it was just his thick winter coat that made him look chubby, wich is so frigging fluffy and soft,from a faint scar on one of his ears we think he might have been a street cat before he got taken to the pound. after that we went to see these puppies that we liked on the RSPC site and bought two of em because we thought they were cute and really really liked us. Ace and Amber, their staffy collie cross with a tiny bit of cattle dog. they were dumped at a vet and given to the dog hotel we bought them from. after a while Tobi settled down, I noticed he had all these traits from cats we had, including mums cats that she had wen she was younger, all our cats came back to us in a single, loving form. but hes as differnet as he is simlar.
