It's October. October = Halloween = horror movies all month long!It's Vincent Price and Dr. Anton Phibes from The Abominable Dr. Phibes. Found a copy at McKay's and bought the little sucker. I didn't even think it was on DVD!

I have never heard of him before but I have now. There’s now Dr. Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll (and Mr. Hyde), Griffin (a.k.a. The Invisible Man), his visible partner Dr. Kemp, and now there’s Dr. Phibes.

I was just watching a Vincent Price movie this morning "Diary of a Mad Man" so this made me squee to see this! Even when deranged he was still so darn distinguished, love this, hon, great job!

I haven't seen it either, unfortunately.
But there is a character who looks exactly like Vincent Price. And I have no doubt in my mind that if Vincent were still alive, Tim would have gotten him to provide the voice.

Aww, I agree. Tim idolized Vincent, but who could blame him. Vincent Price was so amazing! I remember being smitten with him as a little kid. I knew I had it bad for older men, villains, darker characters and so on from childhood. That whole world was just fascinating to me, I didn't seem to care either how weird it made me look. Other girls wanted to swoon over some prince or hero and here I was checking out horror movies and finding men like Vincent Price swoon-worthy, lol! Thank goodness for not being normal and having directors like Tim Burton huh.

The first role of his I ever saw was Professor Ratigan and I was immediately hooked. I found him very attractive; heck, I found Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee quite handsome in those Hammer horror films!
