Nihei3 is my biggest fanart tribute to Tsutomu Nihei, whose wonderfully dark cyberpunk manga series ABARA, BLAME!, and BIOMEGA have enriched my art and expanded my sci-fi horizons. Enter the main guys of each of the series: Kudou Denji (top), Killy (bottom left), and Zouichi Kanoe (bottom right).While the anatomy is screwed up, I'm actually about 95% on target with what I'd envisioned, so I'm happy. Got to do a little graphic design tweaking which was awesome. I placed this under traditional because the drawings were done with India ink first before being scanned and then tweaked. This falls more under mixed media (traditional/digital).
