Description
This little sucker is called a Jack Ripper (Jack the Ripper+ Jack Russel Terrier), perhaps the title gave that away.
Currently me and a friend of mine are working on a post apocalyptic comic, so I guess this counts as concept art. The Jack Ripper is one of the clichΓ© mechanical hunting animals you usually see in this kind of story.

Wow that's an excellent fishbowl perspective with some awesome textural work. An interesting design too (not sure about the face but I love the overall design). Great shading too.

lol I'm not going to argue with you about the face.
Currentely I'm trying to give it a more mask like look, the way it is now it's kind of derpy but at the same time I like it. 
It's hard trying to find that happy medium between simple and complex.

I think you need to rework the mouth a little mainly. :/
Maybe give it an actual fitting jaw instead of an overbite.
