Description
To go along with the screenshot about San and Rin if there is one other person that might help Rin get over her fear of wolves I would think that it might be Ayame herself as the two girls have never met before so there would be no hostility between them. But that wouldn’t mean their first meeting would go smoothly as Rin might indeed panic upon learning that Ayame is a wolf demon.
If the situation were to happen where Ayame got hurt by some kind of other demon while protecting Rin from it I can see Rin nursing her back to health and attending to her wounds (even if Ayame assures her that she can heal real quick).
The two girls might start to form a bond with each other and Ayame might want to show Rin that not all wolves are bad. Slowly over time Rin begins to get over her fear of wolves slowly but is still a bit uncomfortable about them and especially being close to their teeth. Ayame feels great pity for Rin when she learns about how she was once killed and mauled by a group of wolves who were being controlled by a young wolf-yokai leader. This angers Ayame to the point where she wants to hunt down the wolf responsible for this and skin him alive (She doesn’t know that it was Koga yet).
But what will her reaction truly be when she discovers that it was her mate Koga who had his wolves kill Rin as well as lying about something else to her before they got married?

Ayame is a anime filler character only and therefore was not created by Rumiko Takahashi although she was mentioned in the manga. Ayame belongs to Sunrise.

While it's a nice idea for an AU, I don't really see how that would work or even WHY Ayame would bother risking her own health for some human in the show. Unless she was aware of whose protection Rin was under and was attempting to get in good or gain favor from the Lord of the Western Lands for some reason. Which unless needed or she's the type to plan ahead for possibilities would not happen as apparently dog and wolf demons don't care for each other in this series. And wolf demons are shown to be one of the types of demons to see humans as a food source so not only am I skeptical that she'd help a random human, I doubt she'd be upset over some human village being slaughtered by a demon, even one of her kind.
The idea of Rin being afraid of wolves and needing help to get over it is an intriguing one but instead of Ayame being the one to do it I submit it'd be Sesshomaru. I mean, I honestly don't remember much conversation between him and Rin but I don't think he's ever lied to her and he does seem to dote on her a little. Chances are she knows he's a dog demon AND has seen his dog form and since she adores him, for whatever reason, him being even larger than the wolves she fears might do something to help in her fear since she also trusts him completely.

You never know what the circumstances might bring to have Rin and Ayame form a bond. This was an earlier screenshot I did too and the plot I was working on to lead up to this bond of friendship has pretty much fallen apart. That doesn't mean that Rin can't makes friends with a wolf demon but it might not be Ayame, it would be another wolf demon that made an appearance in the Final Act of InuYasha even if it was brief. Sesshomaru doesn't dote on her a little he dotes on her a lot from what was shown in the final episode and manga of InuYasha. Rin has seen his dog form and despite seeing his dog form she hasn't changed her opinion and views on him at all.

Yeah circumstances could permit a bond I'm just skeptical is all lol.
And my memory of their interactions isn't...full, I guess. He could've dote on her a lot but from what I remember, when he was actually with her, he indulged her by letting her have her fun or stopping Jaken from fussing at her too much but mostly just stood or sat quietly instead of playing with her. Though he was always very protective even when denying it.

You are actually right about Sesshomaru just sitting there and watching her play or do her own thing. Mainly he did start dotting on her when he did start courting her at the end of the series which he was doing as he was always coming to visit her and bring her gifts especially new kimonos.

Yeah I've heard some people speculate that he put Rin in the human village for Inuyasha to look after her safety while he properly courts her. Idk how true it is as I've heard some people give different theories and it was apparently never confirmed just WHAT it was he was intending.

If she discovers the truth, she will break up with Koga. If this not happen, they will be together. But for know this with security, we have to watch an Inuyasha continuation or ask Rumiko Takahashi because I'm not sure about her decision but I guess she would break up with him if she discovers the truth

I once again agree with your answer. But unfortunately there is no way we can ask Rumiko Takahashi because she has herself unlisted in phonebooks, no emails even her own mailing address is unknown because of wanting to avoid of her "crazy fans" not that I can blame her.
But of course it's not only the revelation of what Koga's wolves did to Rin but also another revelation or actually a lie that Koga told Ayame to become leader of the Northern Wolf Pack.

Probably we won't know her decision if she discovers the truth. I wish that Rumiko Takahashi make another continuation of this anime and resolves with this all our doubts.

About your question, I think they won't get marry after she discovers that. Ayame is a demon too but she's not evil and Koga was arrogant, evil and he killed the villagers and Rin for feed his wolves, and he only changed for Kagome not for Ayame

I really like your answer and it seems that you are not a big fan of Koga either. You are absolutely right about Koga and Ayame indeed. But now, the only problem is that her and Koga are already married when this all happens so I guess the real question is: What will she do?
