I'm so glad that Game of Thrones is back!!! Here is my tribute to Tyrion who is my absolute favourite, favourite, favourite character both in the show and the books

Graphite pencils 2B-8B, blending stump, kneadable eraser, white gel pen for bits of hair and beard

For the background I actually just used an 8B Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencil, no layering just pressed down really hard and got a very black result. This pencil does not give you the graphite shine, it just comes out a very dark black. Be careful when doing it though because it does not come off with an eraser, even if you mange to erase it, it leaves permanent dark marks on your paper.
Another pencil that works as well is Generals 9xxB graphite pencil, the darkest I have found and leaves no graphite shine. I actually think this one might have worked better because it does not break when pressing down hard unlike the 8B which was constantly breaking due to the soft nature of the lead.

Aw this is so beautiful and amazing!!!!!!! I can't believe the amount of detail in his lips and scar (it has so much depth, how is this possible??? Clearly, you've worked some sort of magic to make 3D from paper and pencil!!!!!). And as always, you've captured his hair perfectlyah those golden locks, he's gotta be part sunbeam
Did you make the compilation your self? I really like it! It shows his face which represents all the physical pain he's been through. The top right shows that even when he was the King's Hand, a very high position, he was still never fully accepted by his family, or anyone really. Of course, there's the Lannister crest, which he's still loyal too, even after all this time (obviously, I guess, because the Lannister name is the only reason why he has anything in his life). And, best of all, are his hands at the bottom. You perfectly sketched the strength in those hands, and it's really making me teary-eyed (Tyrion is my favourite too).
This is absolutely perfect, but I shouldn't be surprised considering how perfect you are *3*

Yes I put it together myself. I started out wanting to just do a drawing of half of his face and then this sort of just happened, I really liked the idea of adding the lion crest and wanted to make it so it didn't look too awkward so I just added two more images of him. And boy you sure do read a lot into this...I included the picture with the hand pin (it was either that or just an image of the pin) because I wanted something that represented his high rank. Even though he is no longer the hand, I will always think that he should be the rightful ruler (even though technically Dany is but I've never been a big fan of hers).
And if this makes you teary eyed then wait for what I'm working on next, hopefully it will bring good memories from your childhood (that's my only hint so don't ask )

For this drawing I used the Sakura Gelly Roll www.amazon.com/Sakura-Gelly-Ma… , but I also use Uni-ball white gel pen www.amazon.com/Uni-Ball-Signo-… they both work really well. I tend to grab the Sakura one more often because it has a smaller grip similar to a pencil.
