I usually don't do any drawings during the week because if I'm not careful I will neglect time, duties and all obligations including eating and sleeping. I just couldn't help myself because I was so close to done. It took every ounce of power to stop where I'm at tonight. I could spend a good hour or 2 on those little fingers easily. Alas, time is not on my side tonight. To be continued.. goodnight!So far 21 hours using charcoal. Tyrion Lannister played by Peter Dinklage from Game of Thrones.

So close to being done. I've been waiting for you to finish him. I have not gotten to your level in charcoal yet. The detail you achieve, is hard to do with charcoal, but I'm learning.

So close yet so very far. I had forgotten about his lion ring so when I went to work on his fingers last night I thought, Crap! The damn ring! Luckily that hand is mostly highlighted, but the ring is going to be a pain.
Keep practicing! The more you work with charcoal the more you learn its temperament-- the more you'll love it.
